Subscription Web Operation: Server management option
A website is an essential tool for digital marketing, customer communication, and information dissemination. However, it’s also important to give due consideration to the operation of its foundational infrastructure. In particular, if there are security issues, there is a risk of causing trouble for site visitors, which could lead to serious consequences such as claims for damages or loss of trust. With CyberTech’s website management service, “Subscription-Based Web Management” Server Operation Option, we manage the entire server infrastructure that hosts your website. This integrated managed service allows you to consolidate your support contacts, eliminating the need to identify issues or contact multiple vendors.
Risks Associated with Launching a Website — Security Measures Are Now Essential for Any Business!
In today’s world, where promoting DX (Digital Transformation) is increasingly in demand, the importance of websites as a foundation for digital marketing, customer communication, and information dissemination continues to grow. Unlike printed materials such as books or flyers, websites have the unique advantage of allowing easy updates. The more frequently you update the content, the more flexible and scalable your information delivery becomes — making it a powerful tool for ongoing communication. On the other hand, with the recent rise in cyberattacks targeting web servers—the very foundation on which websites are hosted—incidents such as website content tampering and server hijacking have become increasingly common. In other words, the very flexibility that makes websites easy to update also makes them vulnerable: without proper security measures in place, they are at risk of being altered by malicious third parties. This is especially true when using a CMS (Content Management System), which plays a key role in managing and delivering website content. While CMS platforms offer convenience and efficiency, they are also frequent targets for attackers. It is therefore essential to keep them regularly updated with the latest security patches. Additionally, keeping regular backups of your CMS is not only crucial for quick recovery in the event of an attack, but also helps restore content in cases of accidental deletion due to user error. In today’s increasingly information-driven society, implementing proper security measures for the infrastructure that supports your website—such as the web server and CMS (Content Management System), which is essential for site operation—is arguably the minimum responsibility companies must take to defend against the growing threat of cyberattacks. When incidents do occur, businesses face various risks, including potential damage claims and loss of customer trust. However, by entrusting server operations to professionals, these risks can be significantly reduced.
Cost-Effective Website Management and Security Measures — Overview of Server Operation Options
The Server Operation Option is an add-on to our fixed-rate website management and outsourcing service, “Subscription-Based Web Management.” By adding this option, you can enhance your service package to include not only website content update support but also vital security measures such as website uptime monitoring and tampering detection. In addition, we provide backup services for website content in case of unexpected server issues, operational mistakes, or malicious tampering that may render part or all of your website unavailable. We also handle tasks that can easily be overlooked in daily operations, such as domain and SSL certificate renewals, and responding to communications from IaaS providers or hosting companies. These are all critical aspects of maintaining a secure and stable web server environment. By focusing specifically on web servers, the Server Operation Option is offered at a reasonable price, allowing it to serve as an affordable form of “insurance” in the event something goes wrong with your website. When combined with our Subscription-Based Web Management service, it becomes a comprehensive managed solution that covers not only website content updates, but also CMS, middleware, and web server operations, along with robust security measures—ensuring your website is professionally managed from the ground up.

Is it possible to add the Server Operation Option or security measures later on?
The Server Operation Option and security measures can be added at any time during the subscription period of Subscription-Based Web Management by paying an additional monthly fee. Please inform your sales representative of your desired start date and plan. We will then hold an initial meeting with our server operations team to kick off the option service. Is it possible to outsource only the server infrastructure operations?
Yes, it is possible. The plans introduced on this website are optional add-ons to the content management outsourcing service “Subscription-Based Web Management.” However, if you only require server infrastructure operations or security measures, we can provide a separate contract and quotation apart from the “Subscription-Based Web Management” service. After discussing your specific requirements, we will prepare an SLA tailored to your needs. Please contact us for more details.
We currently have a contract with another server operation outsourcing company. Is it possible for you to take over the operations, including the handover process?
Yes, it is possible. First, we will have a meeting with you—either one-on-one or together with the current server operation vendor’s representative—to review the current operations and server status. Based on that, we will provide a separate estimate for the handover period and associated costs. The time and cost required for the handover may vary depending on whether handover documentation is available. If you have any reference materials, please prepare them when contacting us.
Is it possible for you to handle inquiries to the server vendor on our behalf when needed?
Yes, it is possible. Inquiry handling to the server vendor is included in all of our plans. Whether in the event of a failure or whenever it is deemed necessary to contact the server vendor, our team will make the inquiries on your behalf. You don’t need to worry about complicated IT or security terminology — you can leave everything to us.
We are using an overseas rental server. Is it possible to outsource the operations?
We have our own office in Cebu, Philippines, an English-speaking region, so we can handle communication in English with your server provider or infrastructure team without any issues. Please note that costs may increase slightly depending on the nature and frequency of communication required. After understanding your specific needs, we will provide a separate estimate. For more details, please contact your sales representative.
